Are both the Fogelman Executive Conference Center and the Holiday Inn Hotel on the campus of the University of Memphis?
Yes, both are owned by the University of Memphis and managed by the Wilson Conference Center Group, LLC. The facilities are adjacent to one another and are easily accessible on the outer edge of campus. They operate year round.
Is the Fogelman Executive Conference Center and Hotel a full service hotel open to the public?
Yes, the Fogelman Executive Conference Center and Hotel is a full-service facility with guest rooms, dining rooms, a lounge, a fitness center, and two business centers. Both individual travelers and groups enjoy the facilities.
The University of Memphis has a hotel school; do the hotel students operate the hotel?
The Fogelman Executive Conference Center and Hotel is fully operated by the Wilson Conference Center Group, LLC. Students have the opportunity to observe a successful conference center operation and interact with the management team on a mentoring basis. Some students are employed on a part-time basis for entry level positions or internships.
Does the conference center and hotel have transportation from the airport?
Yes, airport transportation is offered daily 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. 24-hour notice is required. Please call (901) 678-5410 or (901) 678-8200 for service.
Are fitness facilities available?
Yes, in addition to our fitness center, the University of Memphis Recreation Center may be used for a nominal fee to guests. Access is subject to University use and scheduling.
Are we allowed to bring our own audio visual equipment?
Some items may be brought into the facility; however, a fee may be required to cover the cost of hook-up and technician support. Please consult your Service Coordinator prior to your event.
