Identification Card Information
The University of Memphis issues each student, faculty and staff member an identification card that bears their name and image. This permanent identification card is used as the primary campus-wide method of determining privileges and accesses. Students must be currently enrolled and a photo identification (such as driver's license or passport) is required to have an identification card made.
The University Identification card remains the property of The University of Memphis and should be surrendered upon the request of a University official. Students, faculty or staff members may possess only ONE University identification card at any time.
Students
There is no charge for the initial student ID card. New ID cards and replacement for a lost, stolen, or damaged University student identification card may be obtained from the Ask TOM Answer Center in the Wilder Tower Lobby between the hours 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A $10 fee, payable at the Bursar's Office Cashier Windows, 115 Wilder Tower, will be charged to replace a lost or stolen card.Faculty/Staff
There is no charge for the initial employee ID card. Replacement for a lost, stolen, or damaged University identification card may be obtained from the Human Resources – Employment Office in 159 Administration Building between the hours 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.Contact the Bursar's Office at (901) 678-2712 for additional questions or problems with current ID card.
