Fee Payment Deadlines

FEE PAYMENT POLICY: Deletion of classes for non-payment will be before the first day of class for the semester. Carefully review the registration dates and corresponding fee payment/deletion deadlines below.

NOTE: Students who receive permission to register after Late Registration from the Dean of their major must prepay all fees in full (IPP will not be available), including the assessment of a $100 Late Registration Fee and a $100 Late Payment Fee prior to being registered.

Financial Aid/Scholarship Refunds

Financial Aid/Scholarship Refunds
January 12 Deadline to sign up for eRefunds (direct deposit) on TigerXpress for processing excess financial aid/scholarship refunds as available for the initial direct deposit.
NOTE: Students who miss this deadline should still sign up in preparation for subsequent disbursements.
January 16 eRefunds- Direct Deposit refunds will begin to post to  students' bank accounts
January 23 Checks will be sent to the Post Office for mailing

Other Important Dates

November 10 Priority Registration for Spring 2015 begins
December 1 Employment Certification for fee waivers and discounts forms should not be completed prior to December 1.
December 1 GA Contracts due to Graduate School
December 11 Installment Payment Plan (IPP) available to sign-up on TigerXpress and pay the initial 50% down payment of the remaining balance of enrollment fees plus a $50 plan enrollment fee.
December 15 eBills available online on TigerXpress
Students will be notified by email (U of M email address) when eBills are available and by text messaging if signed up on TigerXpress to receive text messages.
December 22 First day State, UT and TBR employees, using PC191 fee waiver program and students using the Disabled or Senior Citizen Reduced Tuition/Tuition Waiver may register for Spring classes.

NOTE: Students who register prior to this date will be denied the opportunity to use a space-available fee waiver program for this semester.

January 7 Deadline to submit Departmental Fee Waivers to Bursar's Office
March 1 1st Installment Fee Payment Deadline to avoid $25 Late Payment Fee for students enrolled in the Installment Payment Plan
**March 13

2nd Session-Fee Payment Deadline (4:30 p.m.) to avoid DELETION of classes for students who are ONLY registered for any 2nd POT or RODP-RA2 and registered  between January 24 – March 13, 2015. Tuition and fees must be paid in full (IPP is not available). COURSES DELETED IF NOT PAID IN FULL

TigerXpress will be unavailable after 4:30 p.m.

**March 18

2nd POT or 2nd RODP-RA2 Fee Payment Deadline (4:30 p.m.) to avoid DELETION of classes for students who are ONLY registered for any 2nd POT or RODP-RA2 and registered  between March 14 – March 17, 2015.  COURSES DELETED IF NOT PAID IN FULL.

TigerXpress will be unavailable after 4:30 p.m.

**PLEASE NOTE: 2nd POT or 2nd RODP-RA2 students who are registered for any other spring parts of term and added any 2nd sessions classes after their initial fee payment will not be deleted for non-payment, but will owe for the classes added.  If you decide not to attend or you decide to drop a course(s), you must drop that course(s) from your schedule by March 15, 2015 (100% for 2nd session), in order to avoid owing for 2nd POT or 2nd RODP-RA2 classes.  After March 15, your fees for dropping courses will be adjusted based on the refund policy in effect on the date you drop.
April 1 2nd Installment Fee Payment Deadline to avoid $25 Late Payment Fee for students enrolled in the Installment Payment Plan.

The University reserves the right to make changes to the schedule as necessary to be consistent with Tennessee Board of Regents policies and procedures.
