Fee Payment Deadlines

FEE PAYMENT POLICY: The deletion of classes for non-payment will be before the first day of class for the semester. Carefully review the registration dates and corresponding fee payment/deletion deadlines below.

Summer 2014 FEE PAYMENT DEADLINES
If you register for any SUMMER PART-OF-TERM (Full, RODP, 1st,1st Teach, 2nd, 2nd Teach) during the following dates: Fee payment deadline to avoid the assessment of $100 Late Payment Fee ALL REGISTERED COURSES WILL BE DELETED IF NOT PAID IN FULL BY THE FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE:

  • PLEASE NOTE: All courses should be paid by the fee payment deadline in order to avoid deletion of courses. If you decide not to attend or you decide to drop a course(s), you must drop that course(s) from your schedule. Your fees for dropping courses may be adjusted based on the refund policy in effect on the date you drop.
  • Installment Payment Plan is NOT available for summer.

NOTE: Students who receive permission to register after Late Registration from the Dean of their major must prepay all fees in full, including the assessment of a $100 Late Registration Fee and a $100 Late Payment Fee prior to being registered.

May 26

Deadline to sign up for eRefunds (direct deposit) on TigerXpress for processing excess financial aid/scholarship refunds as available for the initial direct deposit.
NOTE: Students who miss this deadline should still sign up in preparation for subsequent disbursements.

May 30

eRefunds - Direct Deposit refunds will begin to post to students' bank accounts

June 6

Checks will be sent to the Post Office for mailing

Priority Registration for Summer 2014 begins

April 15

Employment Certification for fee waiver and discount forms should not be completed prior to April 15.

May 1

GA Contracts due to Graduate School

May 4

eBills available online on TigerXpress

Students will be notified by email (U of M email address) when eBills are available and by text messaging if signed up on TigerXpress to receive test messages.

May 5

First day State, UT and TBR employees, using PC191 fee waiver program and students using the Disabled or Senior Citizen Reduced Tuition/Tuition Waiver may register for summer classes.

NOTE: Students who register prior to this date will be denied the opportunity to use a space-available fee waiver program for this semester.

May 16

Deadline to submit Departmental Fee Waivers to Bursar's Office

**July 7

2nd Session - Fee Payment Deadline (4:30 p.m.) to avoid DELETION of classes for students who are ONLY registered for any 2nd POT and registered from June 5 - July 7, 2014. COURSES DELETED IF NOT PAID IN FULL

TigerXpress will be unavailable after 4:30 p.m.

** Please Note: 2nd Sessions-Students who are registered for any other summer parts of term and added any 2nd sessions classes after their initial fee payment will not be deleted for non-payment, but will owe for the classes added.  If you decide not to attend or you decide to drop a course(s) for any 2nd session, you must drop that course(s) from your schedule by July 7, 2014 (100% for 2nd session), in order to avoid owing for 2nd session classes.  After July 7, your fees for dropping courses will be adjusted based on the refund policy in effect on the date you drop.

The University reserves the right to make changes to the schedule as necessary to be consistent with Tennessee Board of Regents policies and procedures.
