Important Fee Payment & Refund Dates

April 6	Begin Priority Registration for Fall 2009
July 30	First day state employees using PC-191 fee waiver program may register for Fall classes. First day students using the Disabled or Senior Citizen Reduced Tuition/Tuition Waiver may register for Fall classes. *Students who register prior to this date will be denied the opportunity to use a space-available fee waiver program for this semester.
August 1	GA Contracts due to Graduate School
August 21	Deadline to submit Departmental Fee Waivers to Bursar's Office
August 24	Deadline to sign up for eRefunds (Direct Deposit) on TigerXpress for processing excess financial aid/scholarship refunds (as available for the initial direct deposit). Students who miss this deadline should still sign up in preparation for subsequent disbursements.
August 28	Financial Aid Disbursement for Fall - eRefunds
August 28	Fee Payment Deadline (4:30 p.m.) to avoid $100 Late Payment Fee for students who register for ANY Fall part-of-term(POT) between April 6 – August 28, 2009
April 6 – August 30	100% Fee Adjustment/Refund Period – Full Term, First POT, & Regents Online Degree Program
August 29 – September 1	Late Registration with $100 Penalty for First POT Courses
August 29 – September 3	Late Registration with $100 Penalty for Full Term Courses
September 3	Fee Payment Deadline (5:30 p.m.) to avoid $100 Late Payment Fee for students who register for ANY Fall part-of-term (POT) between August 29 and September 3, 2009 TigerXpress will be unavailable after 5:30 p.m.
August 31 – September 3	75% Fee Adjustment/Refund Period – First POT
September 4	Financial Aid Disbursement for Fall – Checks Mailed
September 8	Extended Fee Payment Deadline (5:30 p.m.) for students who register for ANY Fall part-of-term(POT) between April 6 – September 8, 2009 TigerXpress will be unavailable after 5:30 p.m. *All Parts-of-term Courses CANCELLED for non-payment of fees.*
September 4 – 9	25% Fee Adjustment/Refund Period – First POT
August 31 – September 11	75% Fee Adjustment/Refund Period – Full Term & Regents Online Degree Program
September 12 – 25	25% Fee Adjustment/Refund Period – Full Term & Regents Online Degree Program
October 1	1st Installment Fee Payment Deadline to avoid $25 Late Payment Fee for students enrolled in the Installment Payment Plan
October 20	Fee Payment Deadline to avoid $100 Late Payment Fee for students who register for Second POT ONLY between September 4 – October 20, 2009 TigerXpress will be unavailable after 4:30 p.m.
April 6 – October 20	100% Fee Adjustment/Refund Period – Second POT
October 21 – 22	Late Registration with $100 Penalty for Second POT Courses
October 22	Fee Payment Deadline (4:30 p.m.) to avoid $100 Late Payment Fee for students registered for All students who register for Second POT between October 21 – 22, 2009 TigerXpress will be unavailable after 4:30 p.m.
October 27	Extended Fee Payment Deadline (4:30 p.m.) for All students registered for Second POT TigerXpress will be unavailable after 4:30 p.m. *All Parts-of-term Courses CANCELLED for non-payment of fees.*
October 21 – 27	75% Fee Adjustment/Refund Period – Second POT
November 1	2nd Installment Fee Payment Deadline to avoid $25 Late Payment Fee for students enrolled in the Installment Payment Plan
October 28 – November 2	25% Fee Adjustment/Refund Period – Second POT
	**Please note that you must have special permission to register after the above designated "Late Registration" periods for any part-of-term. Contact the Dean of your major for permission to late register for this part-of-term after this date. Please note that you must pay fees for any late registered courses on the same day that you register. The Installment Payment Plan is not available for Registrations approved to be processed after the dates specified as "Last Day to Add." [Please see the Registrar's calendar for specific dates.] $100 Late Registration Fee and $100 Late Payment Fee charged for any registrations approved for processing after the Last Day to Add for the Fall/Spring Terms. PLEASE NOTE: After your initial registration is finalized (fees have been paid), if you add a class and decide not to attend the class, you MUST drop it from your schedule. You will NOT be automatically dropped from the class for non-payment. Your fees for dropping the class will be adjusted based on the refund policy in effect on the date that you drop the class.

The University reserves the right to make changes to the schedule as necessary to be consistent with Tennessee Board of Regents policies and procedures.
