Fee Payment Deadlines

FEE PAYMENT POLICY: Deletion of classes for non-payment will be before the first day of class for the semester. Carefully review the registration dates and corresponding fee payment/deletion deadlines below.

FALL 2014 FEE PAYMENT DEADLINES

If you register for any FALL PART-OF-TERM (POT)
(Full, RODP, 1st POT, 1st RODP-RA1, 2nd POT and 2nd RODP-RA2) during the following dates:

Fee payment deadline to avoid the assessment of $100 Late Payment Fee

All registered courses will be DELETED if Not Paid In Full or Signed Up/Paid  on the INSTALLMENT PAYMENT PLAN (IPP)  by the FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE:

NOTE:Students who receive permission to register after Late Registration from the Dean of their major must prepay all fees in full (IPP will not be available), including the assessment of a $100 Late Registration Fee and a $100 Late Payment Fee prior to being registered.

Financial Aid/Scholarship Refunds

Financial Aid/Scholarship Refunds
August 19 Deadline to sign up for eRefunds (direct deposit) on TigerXpress for processing excess financial aid/scholarship refunds as available for the initial direct deposit.
NOTE: Students who miss this deadline should still sign up in preparation for subsequent disbursements.
August 22 eRefunds- Direct Deposit refunds will begin to post to  students' bank accounts
August 29 Checks will be sent to the Post Office for mailing

Other Important Dates and Deadlines

April 7 Priority Registration for Fall 2014 begins
July 1 Employment Certification for fee waivers and discounts forms should not be completed prior to July 1.
July 28

First day State, UT and TBR employees, using PC191 fee waiver program and students using the Disabled or Senior Citizen Reduced Tuition/Tuition Waiver may register for Fall classes.

NOTE: Students who register prior to this date will be denied the opportunity to use a space-available fee waiver program for this semester.
July 28 eBills available online on TigerXpress

Students will be notified by email (U of M email address) when eBills are available and by text messaging if signed up on TigerXpress to receive text messages.

July 28 Installment Payment Plan (IPP) available to sign-up on TigerXpress and pay the initial 50% down payment of the remaining balance of enrollment fees plus a $50 plan enrollment fee.
August 1 GA Contracts due to Graduate School
August 15 Deadline to submit Departmental Fee Waivers to Bursar’s Office
October 1 1st Installment Fee Payment Deadline to avoid $25 Late Payment Fee for students enrolled in the Installment Payment Plan.
**October 14

2nd POT and 2nd RODP-RA2 Fee Payment Deadline (4:30 p.m.) to avoid DELETION of classes for students who are ONLY registered for any 2nd POT or 2nd RODP-RA2 and registered between August 30 – October 14, 2014.  COURSES DELETED IF NOT PAID IN FULL

TigerXpress will be unavailable after 4:30 p.m.

**October 21

2nd RODP-RA2- Fee Payment Deadline (4:30 p.m.) to avoid DELETION of classes for students who are ONLY registered for 2nd RODP-RA2 and registered between October 18 – October 21, 2014.  COURSES DELETED IF NOT PAID IN FULL  

TigerXpress will be unavailable after 4:30 p.m.

**Please Note:

2nd POT and 2nd  RODP-RA2-Students who are registered for any other fall parts of term and added any 2nd POT and/or 2nd RODP-RA2 classes between August 30 and October 14 will not be deleted for non-payment, but will owe for the classes added.  If you decide not to attend these added classes, you must drop them by October 14, 2014, for 2nd POT and October 19, 2014, for 2nd RODP-RA2, in order to avoid owing for these classes.

November 1

2nd Installment Fee Payment Deadline to avoid $25 Late Payment Fee for students enrolled in the Installment Payment Plan.

The University reserves the right to make changes to the schedule as necessary to be consistent with Tennessee Board of Regents policies and procedures.
