Dependent Eligibility Verification Project

The State of Tennessee Benefits Administration Office is beginning a dependent eligibility verification project to ensure that all dependents currently enrolled in our insurance plans are eligible for coverage. The project began in July, and many employees of the state have already received their notifications in the mail. The goal of the eligibility verification is to ensure not only that ineligible participants be removed from our plans, but that participants can make informed choices about options for alternative coverage if needed. Ultimately this verification process should result in lower insurance costs for all State of Tennessee employees and their families.
