New Faculty Orientation

All new faculty who are appointed for at least one year will need to attend a New Faculty Benefits Orientation session. Each session will last approximately 5 hours and is offered at the following times in 177B Administration Building:

  • August 24, 8:00am – 1:00pm
  • August 25, 8:00am – 1:00pm

Agenda

Representatives from various University departments will be present to discuss some important University policies and procedures. The majority of the session will focus on your benefit options such as retirement, and health, life, and dental insurance. Please be prepared to make decisions regarding retirement and insurance, as all enrollment paperwork will be completed during these sessions.

Please remember to bring your Benefits Notebook (the white binder you received from your department) and social security numbers, dates of birth, and addresses for any beneficiaries and dependents you might list for coverage.
