Penni L Istre

Manager, Tiger Copy & Graphics

Penni began her career in printing in 1983 in Lake Charles, LA. After earning her Commercial Art certification she moved to Memphis and began working for various printing companies in the area. She earned her AAS in Management from State Tech in 2000. In 2001 Penni was sole proprietor of a weekend computer company in which she repaired and refurbished computers for resale. She worked at The University of Tennessee, Memphis, for 11 years in the Prepress Department of Graphics Services and then moved on to Kinko's to increase her knowledge of digital printing. During her time at Kinko's, she gained the appropriate knowledge for building ‘print on demand' facilities. This includes Human Resources employment policy, facility processes and procedures, resource management-vendor and contract, and corporate sales. After spending 3.5 years with Kinko's, Penni brought her skills to The University of Memphis in March of 2003. Ms. Istre's skills and experience consist of:
